This role is a group-wide role which will be based in Nieuw Vennep, close to Amsterdam International Airport, working in close relationship with teams located in this region. 

 

Mission

  • Manages, together with the Group Business Development Manager Sauces, the group sauce platform (clustering all sauce technology sites in the group)  and is responsible to:
  • Understand and communicate the Solina group sauce capability (from a technology perspective)
  • Drive sharing and knowledge management: lead the exchange on sauce-related raw mats, science, products, applications,…
  • Innovate and Develop our group sauce capability:
  • Identify upcoming technologies to answer trending customer needs
  • Drive and coordinate our sauce innovation pipeline and sauce innovation projects across the group
  • Support, together with the Group Business Development Manager Sauces, regional sales teams in their sales effort and help launch new developed innovations. 
  • Provide direct technical support to tier 1 customers where relevant or required

Profile

  • Master degree or PhD in food science
  • R&D Manager experience
  • Demonstrate leadership – able to work in matrix organisation
  • Practical and hands-on
  • Able to create and maintain the internal and external network (universities in EU)
  • Ability to manage complex, multinational projects
  • International mobile
  • Affinity with culinary and sustainable food design
